I delivered the instrument pictured in the photo albums under "Andrew's OM" in October on a trip through Canada. I was really pleased with this instrument and think it's my best work yet.
So, I was blown away when Andrew put it into the hands of Toronto guitarist Jeff Biggar (www.jeffbiggar.com) this past month, and made a recording of Andy McKee's "For My Father". The video is extremely emotional for me, as my own father died just before Christmas.
Of course, I'm also blown away to hear my handiwork in the hands of a professional talent like Jeff -- it really is what makes instrument building so rewarding.
Andrew was the sound engineer and is largely responsible for capturing the sound of this instrument -- thank you Andrew!
